Description:

Medigesic Plus Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Medigesic Plus Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. This medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, restlessness, and increased heart rate. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them. How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Medigesic Plus Tablet is to be taken with food.

Introduction:

In Pain relief Medigesic Plus Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat aches and pains. It blocks chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It is effective in relieving pain caused by headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis and muscle aches. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time.

Benefits:

Medigesic Plus Tablet is a combination of two pain relievers (Ibuprofen, Paracetamol) and a stimulant (Caffeine). The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). The presence of Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol / Acetaminophen.

- Medigesic Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

- Kidney : CAUTION

- Medigesic Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Medigesic Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Medigesic Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function.

- Liver : CAUTION

- Medigesic Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Medigesic Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Medigesic Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

Missed Dose:

If you miss a dose of Medigesic Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
